Spore Cell Phase Tips and Tricks:

  • If you want to be an omnivore, add both kinds of mouths and put them all on one end (usually one mouth in the middle and two of the other type just to the side of it. This allows you to eat any type of food fast.
  • Adding big spikes are a good way to defend yourself. If they stick out far enough, a quick spin move when you are being attacked will slice up the attacking cell.
  • The best thing to do is to put both mouths on front, huge horn on front, huge poison thing on the sides, and two huge bulbs on the somewhat side-back.

Let's share our best cell phase tips and tricks. We can discuss them in the discussion forum on this thread, then put the best ones on the spore cell phase tips page: http://www.sporeillustrated.com/page/Spore+Cell+Phase+Tips

Here are the first two I added:
* If you want to be an omnivore, add both kinds of mouths and put them all on one end (usually one mouth in the middle and two of the other type just to the side of it. This allows you to eat any type of food fast.
* Adding big spikes are a good way to defend yourself. If they stick out far enough, a quick spin move when you are being attacked will slice up the attacking cell.

If you want to get the pacifist award thaen you must not kill any other cells. So you need these items:
Filter Mouth: Means you can't kill with your mouth.
No Spikes: Cells can easily ram into your spikes and commit sucicide.
(optional) Jets: Use these to escape any form of danger.
It is possible to get it as a Carnivore but very hard as your mouth can kill and you need to eat a form of meat.

Spikes and Jets are what you want to get you through quickly
Change your parts at the end (try to get all of them) , this will allow you more parts in the creature stage
If being hunted by an epic cell call a mate (backspace) and it will go away (you still have to swim to the ripples)
Jets are much better than celia (and obviously flagella) as you want speed, not turning circle
You have total 100 dna points at the end of the Stage
It is easier to put a spike on the front for carnivores as it allows them to kill much faster, yet still eat without too much difficulty
My preffered build:
-1 spike front, 6 (3x2) side (total 40 points)
-preffered mouth at sides of front spike (carnivore/herbivore mouth) (15 points)
-4 jets (2x2) (50 points)
-1 eye (preferably on the body not coming out to save space (5 points)
40 + 15 + 50 + 5 = 100...yay i can count
The 4 jets mean that you dont need a spike on the back because you are sooooooo fast

My computer froze when i was posting this...lucky it saved
