On the DS, Spore Creatures will focus on the creaturescreature phase of the Spore PC game. Like the PC game, the DS game creatures will have different traits depending on what physical characteristics the player gives them. Players then use the touch screen to control the creatures, attacking other creatures, defending itself from predators, or making friends through social games.

The DS spinoff will also have more of story-based arc to it than its PC counterpart. Players will have to keep their creature alive through 12 different levels in order to win the game.

Release Date

Spore Creatures for the DS will release the same time as the PC version: September 5th for the UK and September 7th for North America.
