Coming spring 2009 is Spore Galactic Adventures which open up Spore even more. Spore makers took all the feedback about people's favorite parts of Spore or things they wish they could do and made it into the next evolution of Spore, where you can step foot on other people's planets, create your own planets and levels, etc.
