Spore is available for the PCMicrosoft Windows XP (Microsoftand Windows)Vista and the Mac OS X. Spinoff games will beare available for the Nintendo DS (Spore Creatures) and the iPhone (Spore Origins). Will Wright has stated that these spinoffs will only feature certain aspects of the PC game rather than exact clones in order to take advantage of each platform's strengths.Spore creator Will Wright also has a Wii Spore spinoff in the works that will be a complete re-working of the game rather than being ported over from its PC counterparts.
