Unable to scale Creature components or body parts

the scaling tool in spores creature creator requires you to use a mouse wheel to expand or contract components. make sections of the spine bulge out or shrink. i use a 4 button trackball mouse that does not have a scroll wheel so i am unable to scale the components. does only one know of a keyboard command that i can in replacement of a mouses scroll wheel.

If you have the manual it should be in there some whereother than that i watched a video on youtube which I think said something about alternative commands soz i cant remeber what it is calledbut if you look up things like how to use the editor etc you should find something.............. 1 out of 3 found this valuable. finaly found the solution. you have to use the up and down arrow keys when the spine segment is selected and or the mouse pointer is over item to be scaled..
