So how is it?

Since the Spore release I've read some pretty enthusiastic reviews and a few not-so-complimentary ones. How does it really stack up to the hype?I'll probably be picking it up in the next week or so, but always like to hear from some people who actually have it their hands and have spent some playing. 3 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

well compared to the games out at the moment i think this game has had the most thought put into every stage is not the same and the space stage almost seems like there is unlimited potential. i have had the game for 9 days i just started going through worm holes to the other side of the galaxy. i think there has to be over 10,000 planets to explore befriend or destroy. i think this game is the best i get very bored playing most games after the first day but im still playing this one.I highly recommend. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. i've almost ogtten passed the 2nd stage.. the first stage is absolutely fabulous, but the controls on the 2nd stage SUCK ALOT, NO GOOD... like when i try to sprint, it makes me stop, and press the forward key again, i should be able to hold the forward key, press sprint and just have a rush of speed... i should be able to press forward, and direct myself with one of the mouse clicks (left probably b/c right click is to look around WITHOUT moving camera... there are some glitches in the ground, there are quite a few bugs still... but lets hope they get patched up in the next patch... =) LOVE the first stage,. wow... can;t wait to keep going.

This game is awesome! I got it for my birthday and already I am playing it every day. My creature is an herbivore, its pretty easy that way. Only thing I don't like about it is that its so slow! Its reeeally cool!!

Holy Cow, can't wait to get the game! I only have the creature creator and that is fun all by itself, the game is coming soon :)

This game still has a few glitches. I wish Maxis would send us a patch to fix just a few!
