Share Your Tribal Phase Tips

Let's share our best tribal phase tips and tricks. Have as many babies as you can until you reach your maximum of 12. Assign two to gather food and then immediately build the fire stick hut and select the rest of your tribe and assign them fire sticks. Then check out the other tribes and find the one that has the least development as this is the one you'll attack. Next, get the two food gatherers to stop gathering food and to stand guard next to the food pile to prevent others from stealing while the rest of the tribe are away. Finally, select your other fire stick wielding tribesmen along with the chief to attack the main hut of the tribe you identified as the weakest. When you do this, their tribesmen will attack you but with your fire sticks you'll have their hut burned down before you've lost too many of your tribe. As soon as their main hut is destroyed, all their tribesmen will run away and you'll have their totem and some new discoveries to use. The first time you do this, you may only get half of hut destroyed before you need to run back to defend your own huts, but the second time through should see you succeed. Keep using this method until all other tribes are vanquished. You'll then have the reputation of being "Vicious" which you'll take with you to the Civilization phase.

Domesticate another creature as soon as possible. The domesticated creature will trot along into the corral behind your main hut and begin producing eggs, which will appear in the square wooden basket on the side of the corral. Then you can assign a food gatherer to gather these eggs. This produces food faster, since the gatherer doesn't have to travel so far to get it. I have also successfully domesticated 2 different creatures (different species) who coexisted quite peacefully in the corral together and produced so many eggs, I had to assign two gatherers to keep up with it. I also noticed that when my village was under attack, one of my domesticated creatures came out of the corral and defended my village against the marauders! 15 out of 18 found this valuable.
