"MINE DOES THE SAME THING!There is now a new patch out for the Mac. You need to have the EA downloader installed, the when you try to run Spore it should ask if you want to install the patch, click YES. If this doesn't work go to EA's website and follow the link to Spore patch. Scroll down the page and there are two direct dowloads for Mac patches. I hope this helps. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. i actually went lookin around and someone said they reinstalled it and it worked fine so i did that and it works now tho the error has come up ending my game a couple times but for the most part its fine, i've also read that theres something wrong with the patch cause when i try to install it, it just stops responding, i guess its because i dont have the EA downloader
