How do i make an omnivore

We seem to have a choice to make an omnivore somewhere in the game but i don't know exactly how to do it. An Omnivore would be cool cause you can either eat by killing others or eating vegetation. This ways you would progress much faster in every stage i would think. I have only been able to make either a carnivore or hebivore, can anybody help?

You can do it without skipping the cell stage. You have to add two mouths: one carnivore and one herbivore. Then you can eat both plants and meat.

In the cell stage, you can unlock an omnivore mouth by killing a creature that has it as a part, then have your creature mate so you can change it and replace your mouth with an omnivore's. Yeah, you don't need to add two mouths, but is most likely needed to become an Omnivore if you're at a late stage in the Cell Stage. Mainly when your cell obtains a brain, because then you can't see your traits without advancing onto land. Also, if you get the trait of Carnivore or Herbivore and you have both mouths or the Omnivore mouth on the creature, you will become an Omnivore, as long as you don't remove the other mouth or the Omnivore mouth. (You can add an extra mouth at the point where you add legs as well, good for if you have Carnivore or Herbivore).

In cell stage, ther is bloaty and another creature that has a tube instead of a mouth, kill it and you get the probiscis part, Even in lesser cell stage you dont need to get it because of gold asteroids, so two mouths is bad. But the proboscis mouth has a downside, you cant eat meat chunks, you have to slurp their insides out when they are still alive!
