Captain outfiter help

In the captain outfitter when you choose a weapon it brings out 2,one on each side.How do you make one disappear to where there is one of maybe two kinds on each arm.I see it on many creations and it frustrates me that i do not no how to do it

I've never seen any creations made by anyone that has 1 on one side. It's impossible. The likely hood that person hacked the game is high. In any creator except the Building Creator the pieces ALWAYS jump onto both sides. The only time it doesn't is when it is right in the middle of the creature/vehicle.

It is possible, and it's not hacking. You need to download patch 5.1 and one of the features is asymmetry (not symmetrical). Once you download the patch in any of the creators, click the part you want to get rid of on one side, and hold down the a button (you should see a picture) and pull it off.
