Setting creatures down

I'm in the space stage and I'm trying to lower a creature I abducted into a city but I keep killing them! How do I NOT drop them from high up?! Do you find this valuable?

To lower them down without killing them you have to hold the mouse button down until they land.
If you do that and they still die, it might be the cause of a glitch or something and there I cannot help. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
